Individual counseling

Individual counseling involves a collaborative process of self-discovery, growth, and healing. Counseling can be helpful for a variety of concerns including:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • focus and organization

  • motivation

  • self-improvement

  • relationship health

  • general life management

Between the demands of work, family, and life management, it is not uncommon to experience challenges in any of these areas. I understand what this is like and draw from a variety of therapeutic methods and tools to help work through this.

In addition to my advanced education in counseling methods, I have specialized training in trauma therapies to support those who have had traumatic experiences that continue to negatively impact life and impairing how we see ourselves and the environments we live in. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TRM (Trauma Resiliency Method) to specifically address the psychological and physiological impacts of trauma, and will nurture a more regulated and resilient nervous system.
